Don’t fret over data inconsistency ever again – in Redlike, you can assign a barcode to virtually anything, and thus be always sure to be working with the correct tools. Our Redlike database is ready to process and retrieve barcode data about the following:
- product bases for each package,
- colorant packages,
- Redlike users,
- orders (QR codes).
If you are uncertain of a barcode, feel free to take advantage of our barcode testing environment at any point to check – just to be sure! Of course, physical as well as virtual keyboards can be used and all is settable.
Avoid Superfluous Mistakes
When creating a Redlike 2 database, you have an option to insert barcodes for colorant canisters. Moreover, you can define barcodes for bases for each product package. This data can be also added or changed by any other database update.
Activate the validation in Machine Settings → Dispensing options.
✔ Validate barcode of the base can → do not ever use a wrong base can again.
✔ Validate barcode of the canister and the colorant package before refilling → do not ever refill an incorrect colorant again.
Keep Track of Customers
Barcodes can be also assigned to your customers.
After they choose their desired paint, simply scan their customer card and the customer will be automatically assigned to the order/dispensing. Later, there is nothing easier than to look them up in the Dispensing history to see their entire purchase history and retint the exact same colour shade (yes, even if the formula has changed meanwhile!).
Keep It Easy for Employees
We all know how annoying it is to keep logging in and out and keep writing the same username and password over and over again. To save all that wasted time and energy, Redlike allows to simply scan the barcode of the employee card and if it is assigned correctly in User Management, the user is logged in automatically! Needless to say that the data may be manipulated locally as well as centrally – as long as you have high enough permissions.
It may happen that you are want to check if a barcode has been assigned correctly to a base/colorant/customer/employee – for this purpose, do not hesitate to use our Barcode Testing environment which will evaluate immediately whether the barcode you are inserting is correct or not. The manual scan also enables to check if the problem has been caused by the barcode reader or if there is a mistake in the database.
Our Barcode Testing environment is the easiest and the fastest way to troubleshoot work with barcodes.
Using physical as well as virtual keyboard is taken for granted – but be careful to have ✔ Virtual keyboard allowed in Environment Settings – Environment – Enable Light.
QR Codes Ordering
If your barcode reader handles QR codes as well, it can be used to load an entire order (product, fandeck, formula name/code, package)…
..or even to install Redlike!
