New Types of Licenses
You are already fairly familiar with our license types (Redlike Pricing, Redlike Dispensing, Redlike Plus). As we brought you the support of manual machines in Redlike the other day, we decided to create a new license type – Redlike Dispensing Manual. This license supports only manual machines so it is easier to work with and it comes with a discount! Two birds with one stone!From now on, we also support leased licenses which means licenses granted for only a certain period of time. For our customers, we also provide the possibility to work with prolonged licenses. Prolongation can be set for each license individually and enables you to gently force your customers to come online in a defined cycle – if they do not, their Redlike will be blocked until they do again.
New User Roles
We enriched the hierarchy of user roles in order to offer you a greater flexibility. Along to the existing roles admin and user, we added the role of a manager and a superuser. Manager can work with zones, yet cannot distribute software releases as an addition to managing users and superusers and licensing. Superuser is able to license and create and manage other users.
Remove Licenses
Another cool feature which you can be using from now on is the invalidation of a license. It allows you to revoke any license. Of course, you still have the possibility to return the license back to the very same computer.If you want to delete a licensepermanently, that is also possible. However, in that case please contact us and once removed, you will be granted a new license in exchange. But be cautious in such radical decisions please – these removed licenses should not be reactivated anymore.
Translations and Icons
As a bonus, we prepared the beta version of translations in Redlike Web. The available languages for now are English, German, Czech and Slovak but we hope to expand this family soon. If you feel like helping us, we will be more than happy! As this is only a beta version of Redlike Web translations, we would like to point out that not all the translations might be 100% and whatever feedback you can give us, we will treasure it.
The last but not least, we have been playing with the design. We made some slight improvements, among them also new menu icons and clearer download buttons!
