We can read a lot about teambuilding: from phrases about the subsequent increase in productivity to guaranteed instructions and tips on how to organize successful teambuilding. However, only a few will tell you that you can really enjoy teambuilding with your work colleagues to the max. Even before our event together, it was true that we were a great team, with many colleagues easily sacrificing their free time to spend a weekend together. And that it was a weekend worth having!
We chose a cottage in the East Bohemian countryside, with the possibility of private wellness with a sauna and jacuzzi. For those who prefer adrenaline fun, a paintball match was prepared in a nearby forest, which will probably be seen on our skin for a few following weeks. Fortunately, everything passed without any major injuries, and the minor ones were soon healed by miracle drinks.
The evening was spent in the traditional spirit around the fire, with the sound of guitars and (at times) a bit of loud singing, which for a change will probably be remembered by the neighbors from the surrounding houses for a few weeks to come. Surprisingly, even after such a busy night, colleagues managed to play chess, netball, or badminton in the morning. And since a good mood is complemented by good food, I can’t leave out the fabulous cuisine, which was taken care of with unprecedented vigor by one of our colleagues: the calories burnt by sports helped us to replenish three ducks with cabbage, homemade smoked meat, grilled steaks, burgers and last but not least a keg of beer.
Best of all, however, was to see that our colleagues were having fun together outside of work and having a really good time at that.
