The New Challenge
UFI stands for unique formula identifier and its purpose is to provide information about how hazardous a product is to one’s health. The ECHA’s Poison Centre website can serve as an information source in this matter as it explains the use of UFI as well as supplies a manual on how to generate it correctly. The bottom line for all of us is clear – we need to ensure the assignment of the appropriate UFI code to the befitting product and we need to deliver this data to the end customer in the form of a printed label. Sounds easy enough, right?
Solution on its Way
In Deso, we have already acknowledged new requirements of the market and we have been taking steps toward tackling them. Our minds are working on full speed to find the best possible solution for our customers and we are more than ready to collaborate with you on mutual satisfaction. Our understanding of the necessity of knowing your tools and materials has been expressed by the logic of colorant package barcode scanning. This ensures not only the correctness of the colorant refill but also provides additional information about what is being dispensed at each particular moment. In other words, there is no safer way to get your UFI right under all circumstances.
